Be a partier, a creeper who hangs out on the street, or even a vampire if you find one. My niece Jenna really loves The Sims. One evening while I was writing a review to post on this site, she told me she wanted me to post reviews of all her Sims games. At night. There are no murders here, no killings, no tanks, no planes, no bombs, no body parts flying all over heck and gone. I told her if she wrote them, I'd post them.
You have to get this game because it is just the best. She's has been staying with me for the last couple weeks while her parents are vacationing in Europe. I like this game and I have stayed up all night playing it. So, below please read Jenna's take on this game. I have not edited her words, they are here exactly as she wrote them.Jenna says: Explore the Sims world. My take on The Sims is that if you have a child who wants to play video games, look no further than The Sims.
Simply stated, The Sims are fun, they really are, they are good, clean fun.
Basically, you pay her money, and the more you pay her, the better a date she gets you.6.You choose "turn-ons and turn-offs." These are basically what you find attractive and disgusting in a person. Now, what this game brings to the table is the ability to have a Downtown, which is a new area that has a lot more fun locations to explore.THE GOOD THINGS ABOUT THIS GAME:1.You are able to go to nightclubs, bowling alleys, restaurants, and bars.2.There is a new Pleasure Aspiration, which basically has you fulfill fun goals (like going bowling, jump on the couch, watch TV, etc).3.You can go on dates. First of all, this is an expansion pack to "The Sims 2", and you have to have "The Sims 2" in order to play this game. For instance you might be attracted to someone who's fit and has blond hair but not be attracted to someone who stinks.7.You get new clothes and hairstyles, which aren't numerous, but they are really fun.8.You can go on group outings with multiple people.THE BAD THINGS ABOUT THIS GAME:1.It's really hard to become a vampire if you want to become one.There really aren't that many bad things about the game. You basically take a sim out somewhere (or invite them to your home) and you try to improve your relationship with them and have a good date.4.There are vampires. I thought that the vampires are fun and unique to the game.5.There is new matchmaker. I did find it a little expensive, but it is still a great addition to the series. Definitely get it for $20 or less, but I recommend that you don't pay $30.
University allows you to send teen sims to college which in turn allows you to get better jobs.
You can now have your own car. I love the Sims2 games. With the Nightlife Expansion Pack Sims2 just got better. There are more things to do when you go downtown but beware of the vampires.they bite. Awesome game.
I purchased this game for my daughter, who is a SIMS fanatic. She absolutely loves it. Now she've moving on to the SIMS Pets Expansion Pack.Great Product
